Step Into My Week: MIT Intake, Big/Lil Reveal, & Confirmation Retreat

This past week was such a fun week. I had a lot of BBYO stuff and a few sleepovers. I'm so excited about where this school year is going. I've been loving every activity I'm doing.

My chapter had our MIT intake last weekend. MIT Intake is where freshman learn more about BBYO and get their big sisters. We played a hilarious game where we had to guess random facts about people in our chapter. It was super funny. My littles are cutest girls. I'm so excited about all the MITS. My friends' littles are all amazing. I even found someone whose vegan in my chapter. This year's going to be so amazing.

I'm in confirmation this year. So far, I've been really enjoying the classes. It's so cool to hear people's different opinions on Judaism. It really helps show me parts I wouldn't think about in different ways. Anyways, we had a retreat. I mainly hung out with people I already knew, but I did make a few more friends. We went to an escape room. I had never been to one before, so I had a complete blast. I definitely want to go back and do another one.

That's it for this week. Hopefully, I can get the Step Into My Week post published on next Monday. You'll have to check back soon to see.

Step Into My Week: BBYO, Lantern Parade & Gilmore Girls

Last week I had a cold that left me wanting to do nothing. Luckily, I was able to make time for some fun too. I'm back to feeling better which is pretty great. It's crazy to think we're a month into the school year. Wow, time is going by so fast.

My BBYO chapter had a Shabbat with another chapter. It was super cute. I got to see my friends in the other chapter which was great. We made really cute bracelets.

I went to the Beltline Lantern Parade. The lanterns were absolutely beautiful. So many people had clearly put in tons of time to make their stunning creations. I definitely want to participate next year. I'm pretty sure the Beltline has classes on how to make a lantern. I'll have to take a class.

My friend, Revell, and I went to see a play on Saturday night. The play was really good. I love supporting other schools' productions. It's really cool to see how different their performances are from my school's.

After the play, Revell slept over. We attempted to have a Gilmore Girls revival marathon, but we only got through the first episode. The part we saw was really good. I'm excited to finish watching the series.
