Heyo! I'm Sophie. On Gold Clutter, you'll find whatever I'm musing over at the moment whether it be life, books, fashion, food, or travel. You name it, I've mused over it or I'll muse over it one day. Onto the quick facts:
Favorite color: Grey! So random apparently, but I love it.
Book you can never go wrong with as a grad gift: Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Such a classic. So thankful I read it in seventh grade.
Favorite city: Atlanta! I'm obsessed with where I live. I'm so in love with the city that I've taken classes on it. You're probably wondering if I have a city guide now? Nope, but I'll get straight to work on it.
Favorite band: I'm the absolute worst. I never listen to music but when I do I listen to literally twelve bands/artists total. Maggie Rogers. Fleet Foxes. The Avett Brothers. Florence + The Machine. The Head and the Heart. Lord Huron. Bruce Springsteen. James Taylor. Ron Pope. Bon Iver. The Lighthouse and The Whaler. Iron & Wine. Gregory Alan Isakov.
Favorite bridge: Who on Earth has a favorite bridge is what you're probably thinking. Well, I do. I love Jackson Street bridge. I'll go to people watch, watch the sunset, or watch the cars. It might be weird but it's a nice bridge.
Favorite national park: I'm a national park junkie. I love love love national parks. I'm forever obsessed with Olympic. So many great memories there.
Favorite license plate: I'm always looking for license plates on road trips. They're just so cool! I'm a big fan of Colorado's license plate. I also really like my Appalachian Trail license plate.
Favorite restaurants: I'm vegan so any restaurant that has vegan food is good in my book. I love a good dumpling so Gu's is delicous to me. Herban Fix has the best eggplant dish. Mushi Ni for bao buns. Willy's for tex-mex. Honeysuckle Gelato for sorbet. I guess that's a sneak peak at the food places I'll put on my guide to Atlanta.
Favorite clothing item: I live in my Chacos. I wear them from the day the sun shines in the spring till winter creeps up in the fall. They're just so comfortable.
Favorite kitchen item: Salt! We got my dad a bunch of flavored salts a few years ago. That gift is hands-down the best gift ever. You can change up any meal based on what salt you put in.
There you have it. A quick introduction to me. If you wanna get to know me better, read through the archives (they go as far back as 2016) or send me an email at goldclutter@gmail.com.
