Step Into My Week: Last Week of School and Graduation

This week was such a good week. I know what you're thinking. How can finals week be good? Well, it can. I absolutely loved this week. I worked some, went to my friend's birthday party, saw a theater performance, goofed off, spent time with BBYO friends, went to graduation, and had the last day of school. I kept busy this week.

Friday night I worked for a few hours at my school before heading over to Catie's birthday party. I got to spend a few hours with some of my best friends chilling. We went swimming, took magazine quizzes, did face masks, each others makeup, and gabbed. It was such a good time. Most of my friends slept over but I sadly couldn't. The party was a blast, and I'm so glad I got to go.

I was lucky enough to only have true final. I had other work due in other classes, but I didn't have any tests in classes besides math. For my stagecraft final, we got to see another class' theater performance. Catie, and I geeked out over our the amazing job they did. The acting class is 6 people, so all the actors were amazing. 2 of our good friends were in it, which made it especially exciting.

My only true final was on Wednesday. That meant I had the weekend, Monday, and Tuesday to study. I was also able to goof off with my friends a little. We spent a ton of time chatting in the library. It felt good to take a break from the stress of school.

After my final on Wednesday, I got to see my BBYO friends. I absolutely love my BBYO friends. They bring me so much joy. We went to Mellow Mushroom. Most of my BBYO friends were out of school, but I was still in school at the time. It was amazing to hear about everything they're doing this Summer.

I absolutely love graduation. It's my favorite event my school puts on all year. This year was my 6th time going. The event always makes me cry. I love hearing the seniors talk. The speeches are always incredible and give me all the feels. People even sing. It's truly amazing and so special.

Friday was my last day of school. We got to hang out all day. All my friends and I signed each others yearbooks. After that, Catie and Sylvie came over to my house. We baked vegan cake from scratch. It was my first time having cake since becoming vegan. The cake was absolutely amazing. In addition to cake, we made homemade pasta. I'd say we're quite the chefs. All the food was beautiful. The whole time was a blast as we chatted about life and all that goodness.

I'm so excited for all this Summer has in store. I was looking at my calendar, and I know it's going to be great.
