Leggings and gym memberships aren't the only gifts you can give your fitness loving friends. To help you come up with other ideas, I've rounded up some items that will be helpful for staying fit all year long. I know some people start on their New Yea's resolution of exercising early, so I thought this would be the perfect gift guide to share. I know lots of people are motivated to workout when they have new workout clothes so I'm sharing my picks for the perfect fitness gifts. Everything is under $100 so it should be relatively affordable with some items under $15. Whether the person you're buying for is a runner, a weightlifter, a yogi, or an occasional cyclist, these gift ideas are perfect for them.
Outdoor Voices Athena Crop Top - I got to hear the founder Ty Haney talk last year, and I was completely blown away by the their #doingthings ideas. This sports bra crop top is perfect for getting after it and #doingthings. You could rock this to yoga class and around town for the rest of the day.
Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress - Why wasn't this created sooner? It's genius! You can wear this dress made out of exercise material to your favorite workout class and bounce around town the rest of the day looking completely put together. All the color options are so fun!
Hoka One One Bondi 6 Sneakers - I got sized for running sneakers a few years ago and it completely changed the game. I'd previously been wearing Nikes that weren't supportive and now rock a pair of Saucony sneakers whenever I go running. These days I'm lusting after the Hoka sneakers. It seems like every pro runner I know is wearing these, so if you want to look like you totally know what you're doing even if you have no idea, you should get a pair of Hoka sneakers.
Fitbit Charge 3 - Competition is either really good for some people or its really bad. With the Fitbit, you choose whether you want competition or you don't, which I love. I strap on my Fitbit and see how many steps I can get in each day. I'm not competing against anyone but if I wanted to, I totally could. The FitBit is the ultimate athletic tracker and this Fitbit Charge is the perfect stepping stone to the most advanced running watches.
Trigger Point Grid Foam Roller - So many people I know swear by a foam roller. They say it helps stretch themselves out after a run and loosen them up before exercise. While I haven't tried a foam roller, it seems like the perfect tool for making you look like you know what you're doing.
Alo Warrior Yoga Mat - This is the yoga mat of yoga mats. It has all the features you could want with a no slip material that wicks away moisture. The cushioned rubber matting will support you in case you fall. My current yoga mat isn't very cushioned so I love the idea of this yoga mat.
Hydro Flask Water Bottle with Sport Cap - You're probably wondering why you should spend $35 on a water bottle? Until I tried out a Hydro Flask for the first time I didn't understand why anybody would want something besides a Nalgene. Boy did I learn. This water bottle will keep your ice frozen all day. Let me repeat that so it'll sink in. Your ice will stay frozen all day. This is a total game changer while you're working out. Go ahead, drop the pretty penny on the water bottle, and thank me later.
Herschel Packable Duffle - I'm not gonna lie, this took me forever to find. It seems like most gym bags on the market are ugly and chunky. I didn't want a boring black duffle so I love this colorblocked blue gem. This bag is perfect for taking to the gym and for a long weekend. We love a multi purpose bag.
Cotopaxi Teca Half-Zip Windbreaker - I found out about this brand in March, and I've been thinking about it ever since. This windbreaker is the perfect thing to throw on before you run out the door. It'll stop the wind from beating you down and has a pocket to store your keys while you run. The colorblocking comes in so many options allowing you to show off your personality while protecting you from drivers.
Apple AirPods - Don't you hate running holding your phone in one hand and keeping your earbuds in with the other? Well, I've got the solution for you. AirPods are the perfect practical gift for your favorite fitness junkie as they can use them all the time.
InvisiBobble Power Hair Ring Ties - Getting a hair tie stuck in your hair is no fun. It's a knotty mess to get out. These hair ring ties are the perfect way to sweep your hair back into the perfect pony while exercising.
Lululemon Hotty Hot Shorts - These shorts are perfect for storing your keys in so you can exercise without worrying about where to put your stuff. With that in mind, these shorts are an instant buy for me.
Lululemon Time to Restore Short Sleeve - When I first saw this shirt, I couldn't believe it was meant for exercise. It's just so pretty while I've always thought of exercise shirts as more plain. This shirt is perfect for yoga and wearing about town.
Lululemon Time to Sweat Crop 23" - Good cropped leggings are hard to come by. Cropped leggings are often too short or too long. These leggings are the perfect length. They also have a pocket for holding your phone so you don't have to do the awkward phone dance while running. Having done the awkward phone dance one too many times, I'm so happy for you already.
Lululemon Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve Crew - Running in the cold is just not fun. You're either freezing because you're not wearing enough clothing or you're sweating because you're to bundled up. It's hard, man. This long sleeve is perfect for keeping you warm while exercising in the cold winter months.
Lululemon The (Small) Towel - This towel is perfect for wiping off the grime before you hop on your gym's treadmill. It's also great for keeping sweat off of you. This towel has a million in one uses that'll help you keep exercising.
There you have it folks. The ultimate fitness gift guide under $100. No matter what you get your fitness buff friend or fitness newbie friend, they're sure to love it. If you want even more fitness gift ideas, be sure to check out my last fitness gift guide.
